SBIR Proposal Support

TekMark’s services for companies participating in the government’s SBIR/STTR programs span a wide range of activities to meet your requirements and budget.  Our efforts improve your chances of receiving an award and where applicable, enhance your ability to commercialize your technology and develop new commercial business opportunities.

Some of our more common programs include:

  • “Agency Seeding” – we identify key agency groups and specific researcher/TPOCs that conduct research and use technologies that overlap with your research focus. We introduce them to your technology and generate/confirm interest such that they will be more likely to write a solicitation that aligns with your technology development and enhances your chances of getting an award.
  • Securing Letters of Support – we quickly identify key potential lead prototype users, introduce them to your technology, generate interest and ultimately secure letters of support. This can be done for a Phase 1 proposal or completed within the short period of time from being invited to submit a Phase 2 proposal and deadline for submission.
  • Obtaining Voice of the Customer Data – documented potential lead user feedback on your technology confirms key user interest and market need.  Summarizing this information in your proposal establishes your firm as a pro-active organization committed to commercializing your technology, thereby improving your chances for an award.
  • Commercialization Partner – working with TekMark as your commercialization partner including the referencing of a commercialization subcontract partnership in your proposal (non-binding) provides additional credibility and further establishes your commitment to commercializing your technology.
  • Proposal Development – from writing individual sections to complete proposal development, TekMark is experienced at writing proposals for the DOD, NSF, NASA, DOE and other government agencies.

TekMark has completed numerous SBIR/STTR programs, each tailored to specific client requirements and budgets.  Although these programs can be conducted within a wide range of breadth and depth, many can be completed within 4-6 weeks (or quicker) with program costs ranging from $5-8k.
